Chantillys Motor Lodge

Stayed here before but will not bother again. As previous people hv said got sent a message advising room will not be ready until after 3pm so went into town. Rude lady on reception checked us in seemed to hv great difficulty in finding reservation. Eventually got to our room to find there were no towels. Called reception she said sh will bring but never did phoned again still didnt bring partner went down and clear she had no intention of bringing them and demanded room number before handing over. Foreign owned and run badly.

Very disappointed. Decided to book here but made the wrong decision. Went to check in but couldn't check in until 3.30 at the managers own fault. We had already paid for our one night but when went to check in was told we had to pay again as she couldn't locate our payment (which was 4 days ago). We reluctantly paid and when got to room we saw that we had been charged twice. We went back to reception and did not want to refund us, made excuses she had to ring her bank and she didn't know how to refund, to add to it went to fill up the spa bath and the water was warm on the bridge of cold, this was only at 8pm. Worst service I have ever received and recommend everyone who has stayed here to check their bank accounts! This manager is a lying thief.

Hotel from hell. Stay here at your own risk. I have never experienced such rude behaviour from someone. I was screamed at by the manager, kept waiting for an hour at check in when others who came after me were served, then told our booking was cancelled. I had already paid and had a confirmation email. Beware also anyone with a disability. They do not cater for you and will refuse access with a service dog.

Friendly reception and a good sized studio unit which was clean and warm with a comfortable bed. However was disapointed that fridge did not work. I told reception but it was not fixed and we were not advised as to why. As mentioned very disapointed.

Rooms are okay. Extremely hard to get hold of when trying to contact them for details, never answer the phone and pretty sure the phone was actually unplugged. The most horrible part of our stay is that we found 3 cockroaches IN the bed and when we told the owners all we got was “ok”
