One of the best hostels I've stayed at in NZ.

Large cubby style dorm beds with stairs leading to the upper bunk. Good size kitchen, with plenty of food storage, large communal dining area.

And they had a cool Bulldog 👌

Great spot to spend a night or two! The rooms are wonderful and hands down the most comfortable hostel I've ever stayed at.

Check-in and check-out were really easy and there was a lot of parking available just next to the hostel.

I absolutely loved the individual pods! They were so spacious and private with the blinds. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows (two of them!) and duvet were really soft. There was a lot of space inside each pod to keep bags and other belongings.

I didn't really use the common spaces but the kitchen looked pretty spacious.

My only complaint would be that the common area outside gets a little noisy at night but nothing that a pair of earplugs won't block out.

Nice little hostel in central Taupō. Staff were friendly. We had a private double room. Really liked that the private rooms have their own shared bathroom with 2 toilets and 2 showers. Rooms were very small and cramped with no storage which was a shame, litterally the bed and a walkway down one side. Dorm room pods looked lovely. Every room comes off a central courtyard which made things a bit noisy. Kitchen was big and well equipped with everything but no freezer. Has a really nice feel to it.

What a brilliant atmosphere and standard of cleanliness in this hostel. All the elements feel really well thought out. The kitchen is brilliant and up to industrial standards, the living areas inside and outside are so social and safe. The rooms, especially pod style ones are very functional and comfortable.
Loved our stay here.

Feels more like a hotel room than a backpackers! We had our own spacious bathroom and a lovely view of the mountains, would definitely stay here again if I came back to Taupo.
