Ashbrook Motel

Very clean and well maintained by on site owner. Nice quality and coordinated furnishings, but bed was a bit wobbly so I found that uncomfortable. Tiles in bathroom are quite slippery and hairdryer is a wall mounted one without much gusto, but the bath would be great for families with small children. Overall very good and would stay again.

Pleasant place to stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy, lovely kitchen facilities and comfortable bed. We would definitely stay there again.

The best experience in Taupo. Nice and tidy room like 5 star hotel, even has hair dryer available. Close to the lake, we often walk to the lake side. All other restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Very convenient for us. The service is also the best. The staffs are nice and friendly, gave us a lot of good advices. Really like the place, will definitely come back again.

We booked Ashbrook Motel as we saw that all the other hotels have no vacancy. We were a bit disapointed by this but when we arrived the content was beyond our expectations and everything was just so perfect! There was electric blankets and comfortable beds. Would highly recommend this motel instead of the resorts by the lake.

Honestly the service from the ladies that worked here was outstanding and the rooms were lovely and clean and very comfortable. A little bit away from the main hub of Taupo but it meant nice and quiet stay.
