Amori Lodge

A wonderful place to spend a night or a few days. Very modern rooms and bathrooms. There is a TV in the room, and the bed is very comfortable. You will have your own room with attached bathroom. The bathroom is a very good size. You will be given a key to the room, so that you can lock the room is you step out. There is a lounge area with complimentary tea and coffee. The lounge has a sitting area with couches as well as a table where you can have your take away lunch/dinner. Everything is spotless clean. The location is amazing with short walking distance to the center of the town where there are many restaurants and shops. The lodge is also very close to the lake. The hosts (Sue and Ronnie) are amazing! We enjoyed chatting with them over breakfast which was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this B&B if you are planning to stay overnight in Taupo.

My husband and I went to Taupo for the Tongariro Crossing and stayed with Sue and Ronnie. Lovely people and the place is very nice, brand new and clean. We had to wake up very early for the track but Sue made sure we had our breakfast ready to go, packed up everything and that super bag made a real difference on the way to the summit. In our last day we seated to have our breakfast and ended up spending our day talking to this unbelievable couple. They are now more than hosts to us. We are definitely coming back soon to spend another amazing day with them in this lovely city!

Sue and Ronnie are wonderful, friendly hosts. Very clean room and fantastic communal area for relaxing. Mixing with other guests over breakfast a great touch. Thank you, we will be back when staying in Taupo.

Sue and Ronni are extremely friendly and welcoming. Had a good chat and good breakfast. They certainly make you feel like You are on vacation.

Room is clean and has a common lounge area. definitely will stay here again in the future. Highly recommended.

Fab home from home. Good location for town and possible to walk to. Friendly host's with lots of good local information. Breakfast served around large table with other guests so lots of sharing & exchange of trips information, like one big family. Once you have your room no one enters untill the day you leave which we prefer. (No cleaning or making your bed etc etc). Would stay again as a great relaxed feeling.
