Abel Tasman Lodge

We had a wonderful three night stay here. A very friendly welcome from Scott, comfortable room and high quality breakfast and picnic lunches. It's fantastic to be just a few minutes walk from the park and we loved our two days of hiking, one taking advantage of the water taxi. Lastly to mention the joy of the hot tub as the sun sets and stars come out.

Best place we stayed at in NZ! The room and bathroom were very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and highly recommended breakfast too. On top of this, the owners were very friendly and helpful: always happy to make our stay more comfortable or to offer their advice. Thank you for all your help and for contributing to our falling in love with NZ!

Had a lovely time here Jose and Scott are excellent hosts. The rooms are clean simple on a positive way and have all you need. Jose have great advise as to where to go. Breakfast is brought to your room and is continental in style

Great stay at the Abel Tasman lodge, good, comfortable rooms , quiet location and very close to the start of the Abel Tasman track. The staff are knowledgeable about Marahau and the Abel Tasman and we're very helpful. To make it even better there's a spa pool that is accessible to guests just by booking a time at the reception . Definitely recommend to all visiting Marahau!

We had such a lovely stay in the one bedroom chalet at Abel Tasman Lodge! This was our longest stay during our 7 weeks traveling through New Zealand, and we definitely needed it. Joc and Scott were fantastic hosts, helping us organize the water taxi for our hike in the park, massages and a half day kayak trip. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub and really appreciated the ability to do some laundry while there. Wish we’d stayed a little longer in hindsight!
