Aloha Lodge

Decent sized rooms although we stayed on a day that was 29 degrees and the room heated up quickly with only a desk fan to cool the room down so can get uncomfortable especially if you are planning to spend some time in there in a hot day. Also no lift so if you have heavy bags you have to carry them up a flight of stairs if your room is on the upper level. Good location though. Nice and close to the beach, restaurants and bus stop into Nelson.

Very comfortable stay. Host was very welcoming from the start. Good location with access to restaurants and beach right next door. Room was a good size, bathroom was very large. Good water pressure. Breakfast was good. Only negative was the decor in the bedroom being slightly dated.

Such a lovely place to stay in a beautiful, serene garden setting. Tony is a friendly, helpful and a great host who made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. Our room was comfortable, exceptionally clean and was stocked with whatever we needed. The location is central to a lovely beach, with eateries within walking distance. Thanks for a great stay.

Great accommodation next to a nature reserve and beach on one side, and really great cafes, restaurants and bars within a minutes walk. Our room had a great view over the reserve, was spacious, perfectly clean and had a large firm bed. The free breakfast was icing on the top. 10/10 will stay again!

Was here with my fiancé for a weekend away from Auckland and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfortable and private. The water pressure is amazing! The bed was also really nice. Awesome value for money. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Nelson when we come back.
