The Rocks Chalets

We had a very nice cabin. Well appointed, very clean, and in a fantastic atmosphere. I really like that there is a community kitchen in addition to the one in the cabin. Also very much like a door between the toilet and the rest of the bath-- very helpful if there's more than 1 person! Nice to have Netflix and others included. Host is exceptional and offered all the info we needed. We would absolutely plan to stay again (longer than 1 night)!

Loved this place! Quiet and secluded. Thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor tub and covered porch. Spacious and clean inside. Well stocked kitchenette. Highly recommend!

Accommodation was spacious, well furnished and spotlessly clean. Host was very welcoming. The place has a fascinating backstory involving the glow worm grotto within the property. Regret only staying here for one night, would gladly return for a longer stay.

Super clean and tidy, great location, and really really friendly service. Each unit has everything you could need and if not, the family that runs it is super helpful. We had a great stay, despite the massive rainstorm while in Takaka :)

What a lovely place to spend our time in Takaka! Great experience from booking to leaving the place. Leanne and family are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. About the place: very clean, private, comfortable, modern, elegantly decorated, great facilities, generous supply of beverage, cookies, cooking supplies, great internet connection, Netflix, laundry facilities.... We will surely stay here again if we do come back this way - our 13 year old wants to comeback. We stayed in the Kiwi Chalet.
