Global Village Backpackers

Charming backpackers with a great interior in an mostly African design. The dorm beds are stable and the rooms big enough to move. It's a great service for small money. Laundry was super cheap to, just 2$ for the washing. It's a bit out of the city, but they have shuttle.

Honestly, the best hostel I have ever stayed! I was stunned how everything is CLEAN, so much space and activities to do! Definitely not the last time here. Also the people who works here are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your service. Biggest recommendations !

Such a cute well thought out backpackers! Just stayed one night but really enjoyed our stay. Double room was a decent size and kitchen had everything we needed. Managed to take the kayaks out this morning as the tides worked in our favour (which you don't have to pay extra for!) and they also have bikes available free of charge. Spa didn't seem to be working though. Russel was friendly and helpful. Thanks heaps for our stay!

Great spot. Room was clean and the man checking us in was very kind and attentive. Gave us great recommendations around the city. Easy parking with a nice kitchen as well.

While a bit out of the city centre (20min walk from starion) Global Village is a gem. The owners are generous and kind, happily providing lifts to and from the station. They also provide lots of great pointers on where to go/what to do. I booked a single room and ended up with my own patio. The kitchen is spacious and there are lots of places to hangout. They have kayaks and bikes to use for free. Great value for money.
