Friendly little village store and small tearoom with lovely home made cakes etc. Offers B&B with continental breakfast. Definitely off the beaten path, but great for walkers and surrounded by gorgeous Lake District scenery.

Best cafe I've ever visited. Nice choice of food, generous portions, food was tasty and better than expected. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend.

Stopped in here to escape the downpour on a rainy day of walking. Lovely tea and coffee and the most amazing cheese toasties (try the Brie and cranberry!). Wonderful staff, warm cozy surroundings, terrific food!

Amazing place. Dan and Justin treat customers as if they were old friends,they have a wealth of knowledge to share and the tea and cake was delicious with generous portions.a lovely homey lplace to while away the hours
