Te Wanaka Lodge

The owner was super chill and cool - unfortunately we came in when it was pouring and were unable to use the balcony (but there wasn't much of a view anyway) the rooms are small and a bit dated with not many windows but they are super cozy and the breakfast area is cozy, rustic, and convivial. Lovely fresh food and friendly staff, and great location as we were all of 5 minutes walking to restaurant and the gorgeous lake front, which is absolutely beautiful - with snow capped mountains! (in the summer!)

This lodge is in a good location to walk around Wanaka. It's an older lodge with comfy bed and pillows. TV in room, no ac. There was a good breeze so we didn't need it but there was a fan in the closet. The staff was wonderful! Kyla at reception cheerfully helped us with dinner reservations, Cody fixed an awesome breakfast(best wishes on your wedding! ) and Mandy at reception held our luggage while we enjoyed a long hike after checking out. Afternoon tea /treat were also nice.

Loved our stay in this comfortable Lodge. Lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly Receptionist, delicious cooked Breakfasts + fruit & Toast, relaxing Spa, cosy shared Lounge, good Laundry, excellent parking and 5min walk to the centre of Wanaka.
2mins walk along the road is a beautiful small park with a stone bridge over the stream, grassy area under the trees to relax and eat, cheaply and well from the 6 onsite Caravans.

I stayed here as a backpacker looking to treat myself for a night. I was made to feel so welcomed which really meant a lot to me. The facilities are charming & homely. The bed was very comfortable, room a great size, everything perfectly clean. The robes for use were a great treat as well! The lodge would be great for anyone - singles, couples, families! Couldn’t recommend enough & will definitely be back with my partner. Thanks again

Homely BnB well-located near the centre of town. Staff were friendly and allowed me to reschedule my stay at no extra cost as I tested positive to coronavirus two days before I was scheduled to arrive in Wanaka.

It was a nice place but the rooms were quite small and the lodge experience did seem a bit overpriced to me.
