Wanaka Hotel

Room was dated but comfortable.
Long hall from the carpark across grass and upstairs to room carrying bags - would have been a problem if it was raining.
The bath had a dirty ring around it from previous use which I had to clean off before use.
Told the receptionist on checkout next morning who couldn't have cared less .. not even an apology.
Comfy beds and good location.

Change over from diesel heating to heat pumps to be a part of Wanaka's clean air plan happened today, but not quite achieved in one day. The staff ensured the room was warm ready from our return from dinner by putting in a heater. Thankyou. Plus we were made very welcome, encouraging anyone to book direct with the hotel

Our room was nice and quiet, the location was close to everything. Plenty of good food choices nearby.
A couple of small problems: the carpet outside the bathroom door was soaked. The cold water tap was lukewarm. No air conditioning and the room was fairly hot even with the window open.

you get what you pay for it, such as quality of room...ect. The reception staff was friendly and our room was clean and nice!

We got to wanaka quite late at around 10pm with no accommodation. Luckily the hotel has 24 hour reception and Lea (Leigh ?) was very helpful and found us a room to stay. The hotel is very clean with spacious rooms and modern facilities. The staff are very friendly. We highly recommend this place for visitors to Wanaka.
