Sandy Bay Resort

The lady running the place wasnt the nicest. The location is nice, had yao is a nice location in koh phangan. I liked the beautiful proximity to the oceana and the refreshing pool.
Dont get the basic room thats 800 baht, it was disgusting, I had flies all over the room and especially toilet, didnt go in to shower during my stay cause it was too full of flies. They sprayed my room but it didnt help, I dont think they should offer this room and I moved after 2 nights...

Positive:
- Location
- friendly cleaning ladies
-one young employee helpful

Negative:
- really bad communication with the hotel owner.
-unpolite, unhelpful and sometimes even rude
-changing the agreed price after we sign a contract and pay deposit
- a few cockroaches
- no hot water

This could be a pretty good hotel with some more focus on customer service. I guess right now, with the room shortage in Koh Phangan, they simply don’t care.

Stayed 5 weeks and felt very welcomed by the family and staff. I got sincere smiles everyday and enjoyed my daily banana shake 🥤❤️

Me and my little Leo love and miss this place! We had a lovely bungalow on the hill with the most beautiful sea view from our cosy porch. The pool is the best on the beach and perfect to learn swimming in. But the best thing about the place is the people! We felt like living with family, my son still talks about his "papa" bum :) hope to come back some day soon!

Ps: get a massage from nam in the bamboo Hut in front of the restaurant, she's the best!

Position position.. beachfront at the best beach on Koh Phangan in my opinion.
