Mountain Chalets

We stayed in the cabin for 3 people. The rooms are nice and warm and have an attached bathroom and a very small kitchen.
The rooms are nice and unique but they were a bit small and congested and doesn't have much ventilation if you close the doors which will happen in winter.
But the rest of the services are good and would stay here but request a better and bigger room.

My family and I stayed here for one night as we had a few trips to Mount Cook planned. It’s a decent sized place with all the essentials provided including a full kitchen. It was a bit dusty and old, but we enjoyed the charm of the chalet style accommodation. One thing I did not appreciate (which is outside the control of the motel) is the noisy neighbours who were playing music and talking loudly well into the night. This made it hard to sleep so just be aware that if you have disrespectful neighbours, it might affect your experience here.

Very spacious double room with a large kitchen and bathroom. The staff at reception were friendly and very helpful. It’s close enough for an easy walk into town for dinner or to the grocery store.

1 brm chalet is perfect. It contains 1 queen bed & 1 single bed IN THE ONE BRM. So grateful we got the lounge/dining for that purpose only and not sleeping in it.
Why cant so many others do that?
Therefore, we will return, again.
Thank you owners for understanding one of our previous visits here had to be cancelled due to floods. No charge.
The location, views and lovely town is all good. Do come and see for yourself

Comfortable and warm but outdated and definitely need some cleanup and updates.
Worst part, there's no chimney or exhaust fan near kitchen and then it says if there's any smell left after cooking you'll be liable to pay $100 or more.
