Recently dined at the Fitzroy Town Hall Hotel.
Nice space with plenty of different indoor seating areas. We sat on the first floor which had a nice fire place.
As it was a Wednesday night, we enjoyed the $24 steak night which was delicious. We also had the sticky date pudding which was a highlight.
Good selection of beers on tap though the bar on the first level had limited spirit options. However what was disappointing was that they don’t offer any coffee which is something you’d expect from a gastro pub.
Overall I’d recommend, good value, friendly service and nice atmosphere but just be aware of the lack of coffee.

Never has this venue failed to deliver anything less than 5* food, beverage and service in the last 5 visits I have made. Whether it's been a table of 3 or a table of 12 this team have knocked it out the park. The value for money is up there with the best in Melbourne. Huge credit to the kitchen as we've only ever had excellent execution during the past 4 years

Loved our private room here. Amazing staff, fantastic food and a great venue for any special occasion. Ours was a Bux and it couldn't have been better. Thanks Natalie, Ella and Patrick.

Delicious food, professional friendly staff. Sean and Nat are hard working, generous and genuinely lovely owner managers. We had a family dinner there and I cannot rate the food, wine and staff highly enough. Starters prawns, liver parfait, king fish ceviche and tuna. To follow we choose the most amazing steak dish accompanied with all the trimmings and a variety of mouth watering sauces. This has to be one of the best places in Australia to eat. If you meet Sean and his wife Nat you are in for a real treat
