Everything was great! My friends and I had a great time at this hostel, it was busy because it was grand final weekend, so the bar was pumping and had some really cheap drink specials. Met lots of cool people. Pancakes were yummy & perfect after a big night. Room was comfortable and spacious. Beds & bathrooms clean. Staff friendly & helpful

It was an alright hostel. Staff are very nice people. Good social scene. The negatives are the kitchen is very small. Like really small. There's not much fridge space for however many guests there are. They don't change the duvet which is kind of gross. We also got moved due to bed bugs ( a lady in our door was getting bitten ). However they did move our room and clean our clothes for free. Very professional response. Bathrooms are a bit dirty but yeah nothing you wouldn't expect from a hostel that size.

Yeah main issue is there's 5 floors full of people and one tiny kitchen.

I'd stay again if I was in Melb for a short time.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the kitchen is too small for several people to cook at once, most of the time dirty and only accessible until a certain hour. Good bar, they also serve nice free pancakes in the mornings. I do have to say that some of the staff were somewhat rude to some clients on a few occasions.

Came here with the missus, stayed in a private room and it was real nice! Clean and lots of space with our own bathroom. Really cheap and much better then staying in a boring hotel, hostels are always great places to make new mates and this hostel was perfect for that! The bar was pumping, playing banging tunes and they even had a beer pong comp going on - ripper! Staff were very friendly too, will def stay here again

Know what you sign up for. It feels like a giant student's lodge. Crowded place. If you are single and between 18-25 this might be a cool place for you. Promotions on the wall spur you on to get drunk. Dutch girls grumpily complaining about nobody cleaning up the kitchen. (Then doing nothing to improve the situation.) Not a lot of particular charm to the building, generic vibe to the interior and pop music playing constantly. Nice rooftop terrace. Rooms were okay. Free breakfast was sweet. Fresh linen and toilets/showers were clean enough, couldn't expect more. Not the place for my 34 years of age but caters to it's crowd.
