Roxy Hotel

I’m all for saving money but This hotel is not worth it. Soon as I walked in the lobby there were flies, the room smelled like pinsol, the walls were dirty af, the floors were sticky, and the baseboards were dirty. I was scared to even get on the bed. I asked the guy at the front for a refund and he said no. If he would’ve refunded me it would’ve saved them from getting a bad review. If you’re reading this don’t stay here you won’t be comfortable

They said u can book it thru thrid party to save money but I called the motel direct n they said no that's not true so I don't know whos lying ..

Check in was fast and easy. I like the location. The room didn't have a/c and I thought that would be rough, but it wasn't bad temperature wise, however I never thought about the street noise from the open windows. The rooms and furniture are old and I know people like"new," but I got a kick out of it. The mattress seemed new and the sheets were really clean. Nothing was dirty at all. I'd stay again.

The rooms are basic, but clean. There's parking available and the owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. The bathroom is a little small, but there is a flat screen TV, refrigerator, fan and a closet. The entry doors are locked at night and require a room key to get in for added safety. This is a great spot for cash only rooms with no deposit. I'm spending $120 a day and enjoy the convenient location across the street from the Metro subway station and it's close approximation to shopping and dining businesses.

Interesting area… but the price is nearly fair…
