Dreamtime Travellers Rest

I love Dreamtime', it has mini retreat feel about it, and I absolutely recommend this relaxing, homely and beautiful place.
I'm solo traveler who made two rounds around Australia and is still my first choice - Yes, it is!
Why? Because their team is super friendly and kind, cleanliness is one of their top priorities, super comfortable communal arias, location is just perfect to all we need in Cairns City.....and I've connected with so many amazing people from around the World.

Absolutely loving this place! Paul, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom and toilet is impeccable. It’s quiet and there’s a chill atmosphere; way better than some other, louder backpacker hostels. There’s also multiple kitchens with more than enough equipment. I would 100% stay again!

note you have to pay with a $1 coin to run the AC for about 3 hours. You can buy coins at the reception.

Such a lovely place. I stayed in Cairns way longer than I thought I would just because I loved the hostel so much. It’s such a vibe and Paul and Tim (the team) are wonderful! I met lots of nice people here :) I hope to come back soon.

Beautiful hostel, from far the best in Cairns. Tim and Paul are really nice and make you feel like home. Everything is always clean, pool well looked after and kitchen well equipped. We are always staying when we are in Cairns!
