If you’re not a party person, this is the right hostel for you ! Super quiet and super clean. The manager Leo did a fabulous job, his vibe was unique and you felt welcome from second one. Unfortunately he left but the new girls behind the reception are also very friendly and helpful. WIFI is fast at anytime. The hostel is close to the city centre and the lagoon. The kitchen is clean, big and very well prepared. Everything you need you’ll find it there! The dorm bed rooms are clean but room C is super smelly. Don’t know how people can sleep inside but not my problem. I stayed and worked there for 3 weeks, never had a problem with the owners. But yes, it’s true they are there very often and bossing random people around. However, I would recommend this hostel.

A very good hostel with a good location. I've been here for more than 3 weeks. People are friendly, not too many people, it's a cool place to stay. Staff are very cool, the cleaner do their job.

A kitchen well equipped with oven, toasters, boiling water, blender, etc. The place to keep our groceries and food is well organized.

A TV, a pool, a swimming pool, a table tennis, a barbecue place, a lot of good option.

I enjoyed my times here and have a lot of good memories.

The bad point is maybe that there is no locker in the room.

The owners are 2 crazy women.
I stayed here for about a month. I had an amazing time with amazing people but read this carefully if you wanna be sure.
Don't stay here if you don't want to feel like you are in prison! The owners took the hostelspeakers away, then when we used our own speakers they stole them away to another hotel they own. One of us went to reclaim it and got it back easily from the reception there. A few minutes later one of the owners comes angry saying that we can't get into here private property. Then she called the police. Sorry but she can't take private stuff and last time I checked; stealing is worse then trespassing! And he wasn't even trespassing as you can enter a hotel without any legal trouble! They also kicked out people for smoking (tobacco) outside. They also go into people's room and throw their private stuff (like sleeping bags) on the ground and people's shoes in the bin. I can understand why there are no sleeping bags allowed. But to throw them away like that? The reason people use the sleeping bags is that this hostel provides you only with sheets to sleep in. And shoes? Why throw away people's shoes in the bin?
A point that I don't like is that they are probably watching the camera's non stop. So many times they send workers to other people (friends of mine) telling them to wash their dishes and fining them 5 dollars if they don't. And there is way more.
Watch out people!

Worst hostel in Cairns. And it's because of the owners. The two owner are watching the cameras constantly and are mothering you like you would be a small child, 'don't do this, don't do that', 'i think it's time to go to bed. It's sicking. They are also constantly walking around. They fire people from their staff on daily basis and it feels like they just don't like backpackers having a good time.
The facilities in this hostel are amazing though. A real shame...

The hostel is very neat and clean. The receptionist and the staff are really nice but the owners gave us a really hard time. They are watching you through the cameras all day long, which is very uncomfortable. They treat their costumers really bad and they fired a lot of people for ridiculous reasons. If it weren't for them the hostel would be awesome but the energy there is not good.
