The Hotel Hollywood

Had the most excellent time and experience!! It was convenient to every great location close to Hollywood and Vine. The staff was excellent and the room was immaculate! It was quiet, clean and had a mini fridge! The price was fantastic for the location and value of the room! Staff was super kind, listened well and had great recommendations and advice. This place is 5 star at a 2 star price!

Had a great stay. The entire staff are very courteous and welcoming. They're eager to help in any way they can. The rooms are fairly simple but that's to be expected for a historic hotel that wants to stay true to the building's heritage as a stay for MANY big stars over the years. However, the building has clearly been cared for and updated as needed, and was very clean. The neighborhood is perfect those looking to see the historic Hollywood sites. I enjoyed hoofing around and acting like a tourist. I'll definitely be returning. All the best to the staff.

Clean rooms, quiet hotel, and incredibly close to a lot of the main Hollywood attractions. The staff here are really helpful, Fernando really helped make my trip with his suggestions of things to do. They need about three more of him. I’ll stay again next time I’m in LA.

Very much enjoyed my stay! The staff is so friendly, and the place was immaculate. It ain't the Four Seasons, but it's not supposed to be. It's affordable, basic, clean, safe, and welcoming. Felt homey.

If you're looking to party in your room, pick another place. I had no problem with loud noise, but I guess the walls are thin, because I could sometimes hear people moving around above me and a little next to me. Not a big deal. It seems like the sort of place where people just kinda respect each other and try to stay quiet.

At first I was skeptical with my partner getting this booking just so we could be motivated not to stay in the hotel or do "hotel things" and actually get in the culture of hollywood. I was upset at first to learn the hotel is sort of "on its own" overnight but we are all adults and this is not a bunch of rooms. My house is from this same era of construction so make sure not stress the plumbing and expect not very much "counterspace" as you get with hotels now and enjoy the vibe of "wake up and go see the actual amazing city we are in.
