Oasis Inn

A place that is great to rest awhile..yes it has many years behind it but the rooms are plenty big enough we had a studio apartment which had 2 reclining chairs a large double bed & kitchen table 2 chairs fullsize fridge freezer full-time gas stove microwave jug toaster cooking pots n pans n even a kitchen sink as well as a small but adequate bathroom & toilet. Overhead fan kept the room cool whilst one watched the TV or there was an air-conditioning one could use as well. There was a table n chairs outside unit which looked onto a great swimming pool & a free BBQ. There was laundry facilities out the back & some car parking spots. Nothing was any trouble for the owner..ask and you will receive...service with a smile if you cared to rest awhile. On a main road but traffic noise was OK and not far from anywhere.. plenty of places to replenish supplies nearby.

Lovely guy running it, nice and clean, good price, my ONLY complaint would be smokers should NOT be allowed to smoke right outside the rooms they need to move right away somewhere else I got so sick of smelling their cigarettes wafting into our room all the time.

You pretty much get what you pay for. No daily housekeeping, Aircon is quite outdated but still functional, bed is semi comfortable and prone to movement away from the wall, but unless you are irritated easily, you should survive. Has a pool and also bike hire on site.

Staff was really nice and let us check out at 15 instead of 10. Nice place. Location was half an hour walk from the city centre.

Well priced accommodation, comfortable beds and good location. It was a little run down and rough around the edges, but had off street parking and is close to takeaway food options. We were only using it as a base at night - for that, it was perfect for the price. Did find a few dead cockroaches and I just wanted to wipe all the surfaces over before touching them.
But the pool looked good and there was a laundry room which was helpful.
