We had a wonderful experience at the Beverly Laurel Hotel Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They even worked with us to change our booking date one time because of weather, and our daughter medical appointment change and we appreciated it a lot. Thank you! We highly recommend Beverly Laurel Hotel for anyone visiting downtown Los Angeles.
Of course we will continue using Beverly Laurel Hotel for our stays in LA.

I booked a handicap accessible room over a month in advance after being assured repeatedly that this hotel would be accessible to my brother who is paraplegic and in a wheelchair. Following the booking, I called twice to double check that they could accommodate him, and I was assured repeatedly that it would be fine. When we arrived in the early afternoon on the day of the booking, we were told that the elevator was broken and that he would have to go up six stairs to get to his room. He is not able to climb stairs because he CANT WALK LIKE I SAID so we ended up having to cancel the reservation. They never even called us to let us know in advance about the elevator and the guy at the front desk barely even cared about the situation. THEN I saw on my credit card that they still put a $261 hold on my credit card even though we weren’t able to stay there. I will never come back and am furious. We are literally in LA and homeless looking for somewhere to stay that’s both handicap accessible and available on a holiday weekend.

The only thing that bothers me is how dim the room led lights are, even for the bathroom vanity, luckily it there was still daylight when we arrived, but anyone who tries to get ready in that room will have a hard time getting their face because of the low light. Honestly, my phone flashlight is way better.

The room is clean and I like the coffee maker, microwave and the fridge amenities, I will come back for that.

You have to valet when you arrive, $27 ish per day, there are parking meters up front but I don't know the restrictions, I think it's 2 hours before 8pm, but don't quote me on that, double check all the time, especially because it's LA, you gotta be careful with parking signs.

All in all, I will be coming back, I didn't get to enjoy the pool.

Hubs & I stayed 2 nights; staff was friendly & the room was clean and had the necessary accommodations. The vibe was retro and super cool 🙂 the hotel is close to a bunch of great spots including the Farmers Market & 3rd street which is littered with restaurants, bars, and boutiques to pop in and out of. We said we would stay here again.

There is Parking Fee.
I saw free self-parking on Hotel internet home-page and google map information. But, they say "That's wrong information." It is not their fault & job. I paid 27.5$ per night.

And they don't provide Room cleaning service. Just towel re-fill.

Also Sound insulation is not good.

Location is good and safety.
