Wilshire Crest Hotel

Omg this place was the best loved it. Very soft comfy beds nice big showers fits two people in shower it even has a seat in the shower built in. The rooms where ok sized rooms very welcoming feeling. The location was nice though parking is on the road it's still a really nice place to stay it has that really home feeling to it we loved it.

Fantastic hotel. Room is clean and big. No smell and fresh sheets. Great location to museums. And lots of food near by.

Street parking, seriously? Room seems fine. Location was my main concern for my purpose so it's alright

I booked this place because of it's proximity to the El Rey Theatre and damn was it worth it. Although it is street parking you do get permits to park there and parking really wasn't bad (at least on a Sun/Mon).

Room was clean and bright. Plenty of towels and clean sheets. TV had streaming apps which was great. I'm sure it's because of Covid, but in the morning the staff dropped a little bag full of complimentary breakfast items at our door. I thought that was very considerate of their guests!

Sure, you could nitpick the room because it isn't a 5-star hotel but why? We had a great stay, everything in the room worked and we were very comfortable. Would definitely go back!

The AC situation killed this hotel for me. I arrived at 10pm Thursday evening to a sweltering 90+ degree room. CA is in a power conservation mode so I wrote it off and fired up the AC unit. The small unit could not even dent the temp of the room. I stayed for two days and not until the recent rain did the room dip into the 70s. I ended up sleeping in front of the ac unit on some of the provided chairs for about 2 hours the first night. It was cold in front of the unit but the room stayed too hot for the duration of my stay.
