Prat Rajapruek Resort & Spa

Lovely grounds, but thin walls and our room ("deluxe") definitely would've benefited from a new coat of paint. Service was generally good, but English was a bit problematic. Breakfast was included, but not great. Seems to be more popular with Chinese guests than westerners. Easy to get a motorbike rental dropped off at the resort, which you may need because there's nothing but the night Safari and Royal garden within walking distance.

Used to be 4stars. The place hasn't been maintained or even kept clean. Breakfast is what you typically find in three star hotels. Definitely below average Chiang Mai standards. Will never return there.

Friendly Staff, Clean Accommodation & Relaxing Atmosphere

I really enjoyed my stay at Prat Rajapruek, and it was so great being just around the corner from the Flora Gardens, Night Safarai and the Doi Khum temple (loads of steps, but must see!!). You can also borrow the free bicycles to tour around the area, and it has real nice natural surroundings. It was great staying in the tranquil environment, and they kindly put on a complimentary shuttle service to the city which was also useful!

Secluded, quiet, tranquil and reflects unique character of region from design of property to rooms, beautifully appointed. Resort is Brand new almost, staff so helpful that I extended two nights immediately after arriving (first time ever)!
