*Waiting to have breakfast for 20 mins is very frustrating. This time may vary depending on waiting people. Waiting too much time for just a plate and a cold coffee.
*They charge 5% for credit card. Why isn't it mentioned when booking? It's an additional hidden cost.
*Bathroom is very outdated.
*Too many mosquitos and other toilet flies all over the room.
*Basin which is located in the middle of the room was smelling.
*Internet was very poor.
I would not recommend this hotel. Definitely not worth money. Service is very poor.

This is guide slash hotel review. There was so many things I wish I knew before going.
I hope my experience can help you.

First I'd like to say that people who work at the hotel are nice and welcoming and that I mostly blame people who didn't write real state of rooms, instead they chose diplomacy and said things such as 'you get what you paid for'. Comments got the hotel over 4 stars that it does not deserve. They should have written that it is dirty in there, that there's no hooks or any other spots to dry swimsuit or a towel, that there is a parking lot right in front of the room and a public bathroom in the building. Real comments would let the hosts know that not cleaning the room is not acceptable. Even if it's relatively cheap.
Inconvenience number one is that map shows there are two bus stops by the hotel, but guess what, bus stops just once in Tulum and it is on a bus station. People don't speak much English and can nod to anything you say. Make sure you and the driver are on the same page with payment. Wi fi is a luxury, it's good to have a map app which works offline. Of course it is best to rent a car, or know how to ride a bicycle or a motorcycle, cabs are going to rip you off.
When we arrived, there was no hot running water so we couldn't take a shower till next day, we had to wait till lunchtime. It turned out they forgot to switch boiler on.
There was a tiny soap and damp toilet tissue, so we had to purchase everything we needed.
It was obvious nobody had cleaned in the room for months or opened the windows, there was a terrible smell, dirt and yaki staff everywhere.
The fan on the ceiling was not attached properly(no exaggeration), I was constantly worried it would fell on me. So imagine sleeping in a hot, smelly room in a hot weather, without a chance to open doors (mosquitoes, insects, geicos etc). The area is jungly.
Sadly this was a very short vacation and the nearest hotels, which are Acuario and Christina is almost same as Crucero. I had to make a choice, to multiply frustration and cut my beach days by looking for something else or stay and enjoy whatever there was left to enjoy.
Breakfast was included. Cutlery wasn't super clean. They let other guests smoke right by the table.
There was an issue paying with the card, very long story.
Another inconvenience - there was no mirror. Just a small one in the bathroom which had a defect, black spots all over it.
At Zona Arqueologica de Tulum cashier asks for the exact amount to be paid, and if you don't have a mask they can provide one for 25 pesos.
Later I learnt that right on our floor there was a public lavatory, needless to say there was no one who would manage alien guests, meanwhile door locks were a joke.
There is an active parking lot in front of rooms on the first floor. So there's always someone coming and going. Meaning no privacy or quiet.

Great people, staff and vibes. I loved that bikes are included, because everywhere else you have to rent so it saves a lot of money. Only 5 min bike ride to the ruins and beach and 8 min to centre of downtown. Breakfasts are homey and delicious, and also included. Quiet, peaceful at night, comfy bed. Basic amenities with lockers and includes hot showers. Great value for the money. Beautiful space and trees with hammocks and areas to chill outside. I travel the world and it's one of my favourite places to visit and stay.

Good price for location. Walking distance from ruins and public beach access. 10 minute car ride into town, can grab a taxi. Reception didn't speak very good English, but we made do! Breakfast was wonderful. You picked from a menu and they made it right in the kitchen on site. The young lady taking orders spoke English well enough. Rooms were decent! Air conditioner cooled down the room nicely and there was hot water sometimes. Cold during the typical coming back from beach times.

Great place to check out the ruins and beach, a little far from town though. However, they did supply bikes you can borrow to get around. Place is about what you'd expect for the price: rooms are a little run down but kept clean, staff are friendly and helpful but most speak only Spanish. Stayed in rainy season and place was empty, had a dorm to myself. Nothing going on atmosphere wise, stay somewhere else if you want to party.
