Auckland Rose Park Hotel

To where we wanted to go location was fine. 1st room not clean, shower head broken, small room over priced. Got transferred to another room. Not even an apology just no maintenance person about. A small offer of a discount would've gone a long way. Not clean, very noisy no double glazing. Could hear people talking on the road side. Staff could do with more training in customer service like a smile, welcoming greeting wouldn't recommend to anyone

Nice clean room, good beds, tea and coffee facilities, aircon, off road parking, shower good and hot and strong, but the shower head was too low to get my head under to wash my hair properly. Restaurant food was lovely, but overpriced for what was a very simple meal. Very lovely staff throughout. Excellent location for staying at to take a family member for a day procedure at Auckland hospital. Would definitely stay again.

Had such a great long weekend exploring Auckland from this central and easy location.
Room was clean and tidy and perfect for us as a family of 4.
Even went the extra mile with the kids teddies 🙂 Loved our stay.

Super handy for Spark Arena, can walk to and from there - it’s about a 15min walk.
Room simple with everything you need. Though starting to look a little old/worn in places.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Would stay here again.

Spent 3 nights here on the recommendation of friends. Had a great meal from the restaurant, lovely comfortable beds and clean rooms. Yes, the bathroom is dated. The staff were polite, friendly and professional, even when dealing with the more demanding customers who swamped the place for the Harry Styles concert. Close to the viaduct (minutes in an uber) and city, lovely gardens over the road and a handy shopping centre nearby. It's the perfect base for a busy Auckland stay.
